Responsibilities: Leading and facilitating the activities required to resolve automotive parts warranty issues; Oversite of testing and analysis of defective products; Leading and facilitating cross-functional warranty investigation teams; Leading the review of reports on investigations and analysis of warranty claims issues; Conducting meetings to update management on warranty claims status and ensure timely implementation of required countermeasures; Developing and maintaining relationship with customers in order to understand the warranty programs; Developing procedures for product analysis to ensure the integrity of QA lab test methods; Creating and maintaining databases to manage customer warranty issues and track findings; Mentoring Warranty Engineers with investigation methods. Education: 4-year degree required; Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related disciplines preferred. Required Skills: 4+ years of experience in Warranty Engineering; Experience in an automotive parts manufacturer or electronics background preferred; Knowledge of test specifications, gages and tools; Analytical, statistical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills; Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
