The Principal Software Engineer guides, coaches and motivates the customers & ecosystem partners to enable, support and enforce an appropriate implementation of application for specific use cases as identified together with customers and partners. The role will also be involved in development of rapid prototypes for proof of concept pilots for our industrial manufacturing customers. **Responsibilities** + Provides technical and acts as a coach to application developers within partners and customers of Mindsphere. + Ensures the implemented product adheres to the aforementioned architecture and decisions made around the architecture + Must have knowledge of each phase of the lifecycle and should be able to successfully lead and coach ecosystem partners and customers during each phase + Is familiar with API related development methods and processes using SDK’s. + Independently performs leading-edge areas of work for the professional field. + Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes. + Displays original thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems. **Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience** + Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, including software development background. + Masters degree in business or related field + Experience working directly with Siemens products + Experience working with customers to develop prototyping solutions for them + 3+ years of experience in systems development environment. + Familiar with MindSphere and Data Services type of businesses + Solid knowledge of C, C++, AngularJS,C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, MVC, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Angular JS, Node JS, AJAX, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, HTML, Java Script **Equal Employment Opportunity Statement** Siemens is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
