Due to our continued growth, Tractor Supply Company is seeking experienced Store Managers to come join our team as an unassigned Store Manager in Training **What does that mean exactly?** We know we will need Store Managers, and we are always open to hiring top talent, however, due to restructuring and promotions as we grow, we aren't 100% certain as to which store you will manage after training. So, in some cases, relocation may be required. Number one priority: build and lead a terrific team while increasing sales and profits of your operation. This opportunity combines selling, relationship retailing and store operations. You'll wear many hats: supervisor, inventory controller, display and merchandising pro, and driver of increased performance and profits. Don't expect to sit behind a desk; this is a hands-on, sales floor job with a lot of customer interaction that will enable you to make an impact on all aspects of your business. **This sounds great! What do I need to do to be considered?** First, you apply. From there, your resume will be reviewed by the recruiting team and if your qualifications match our requirements, someone will contact you to discuss your background. You and the recruiter will discuss your relocation preferences in order and depending on where our needs are, you will speak with a hiring manager in your preference area. We will work to the best of our ability to place you near your current home or in your preferred geography, but please keep in mind this can't be guaranteed. After your phone screen with the hiring manager you will do a few more rounds of interviews and if all goes well, you will be extended an offer. On average, Store managers will be in the training store for 3-6 months before taking over their own store. MAKE MONEY Qualified candidates must have: + At least two years' hard lines retail management experience that includes P&L, staff supervision, shrink control and payroll + A valid driver's license for the travel you'll be doing + Minimum of a high school diploma/GED ( a bachelor's degree in a business, agriculture or related field is desirable) + Proven communication and leadership skills + Ability to relocate within your district if necessary
