**Infrastructure Operations Analyst** **Hot** **Krakow, Poland** Network Infrastructure 9 hours ago Post Date 008112 Requisition # Overview We are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Analyst to join the EMEA Network Infrastructure Operations team at Akamai. In this role, your main focus will be on planning and tracking of Network Infrastructure’s financial commitments and mission critical metrics. You will work with other teams within Networks as well as Finance Department and will collect and analyze the financial and operational data, provide reporting, business and planning support to Network Infrastructure Operations team. As an Infrastructure Operations Analyst you will report to the Director of Network Infrastructure Operations and will be responsible for: ● Planning and tracking to mission critical metrics and quarterly and yearly commitments ● Ensuring effective data management and reporting on key metrics for operations ● Creating reports and analyzing data for patterns that indicate problems that need to be addressed or opportunities to investigate. ● Organizing quarterly & annual forecast and commit efforts for Infrastructure ● Providing accurate and timely reports of monthly results and key business drivers /metrics. ● Collaborating with other teams to help improve the overall performance of operations ● Producing regular and ad-hoc business analyses/reports and provide analytical support as needed About the Team Akamai’s Networks Organization is composed of Planning, Technology, Infrastructure and Productivity divisions. Our team is part of the Infrastructure division. Network Infrastructure is responsible for Akamai’s EdgePlatform - one of the world’s largest distributed platforms. Partnering with the other teams in Infrastructure (Network Account Management, Network Partner Services, Network Service Management and Design Architect) as well as Planning, Technology, Infrastructure and Productivity divisions, our team supports operational oversight and leadership to drive operational efficiency to these distributed team of employees who are involved in planning, strategic negotiations, account management, service delivery, deployment and operational support for Network. We are responsible for: ● Driving optimal use of human and physical resources & forecast future needs ● Ensuring predictability of financial commitments ● Establishing formalized risk management and contingency planning ● Developing Network Infrastructure goals, their measurement and communication plan ● Leading project management of key strategic initiatives Qualifications ● Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, or Business Administration ● 3+ years of overall work experience ● 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably worked in a similar analyst or controller role ● Demonstrated record of successful budget and forecast management towards operating efficiencies, variance analysis and business case preparation and analysis (discounted cash flow analysis, etc.) ● Hands-on experience with large amounts of data and ability to run multiple projects simultaneously Required Skills ● Proficiency in desktop tools: Excel, Powerpoint, Word ● Strong analytical skills with ability to organize and structure complex information and to provide cohesive analysis supported by details ● Strong understanding of business processes, internal controls, and audit processes ● Able to understand reporting requirements, envision output, and drive strong quality ● Able to understand business implication of team output – be a Good team player ● Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills in English Desired Skills ● Ability to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with all levels of the organization ● Flexible; able to quickly and successfully adapt to change ● Able to work with different cultures and in cross-functional environments ● Ability to work both strategically and also at a detailed operational level ● Project management skills **About Akamai Technologies** Akamai is the global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, making the Internet business ready—fast, reliable, and secure—for its customers.
