Purpose Manages key supply chain and inventory risk programs of the US business while collaborating with key business partners to maintain systems and practices that measurably improve adidas America’s On Time in Full, inventory turn, and sales performance. Facilitates within Supply Chain Management to support team targets and objectives. Key Responsibilities Manages, maintains, and creates forecasts in order to drive purchasing decisions, hit service level commitments (OTIF) and support inventory and sales targets. Responsible for short lead time (SLT) program from end to end, including ranging, forecasting and purchasing, in order to manage inventory risk and enable later ordering. (AR and TW position only) Collaborates with go to market (GTM) teams and sales to validate forecast, identify potential inventory issues early and, work with partners to enhance overall margin to adidas. Owns and evolves key performance metrics for Supply Chain Management, including those focused on forecast accuracy, service level, inventory and margin. Uses in-depth understanding of the extended supply chain to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop/implement end-to-end solutions. Proven understanding of demand models, production forecasting, purchasing practices, terminology, finance and supply chain principles. Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines. Ability to anticipate problems, offer solutions, develop strategies and address issues within the purchasing process in order to meet financial targets. Effectively communicate complex data and solutions (both written and verbal) at all levels of the organization and to lead discussions in small and larger groups. Ability to influence others to build consensus with internal and external partners. Ability to manage and participate in complex global and regional projects as assigned. Ability to understand and use financial data to make decisions and influence outcomes. Advanced MS Office skills and ability to learn and use internal databases. ERP or SAP Experience preferred. Qualifications Four year degree from college or university required with emphasis in supply chain management, logistics, or finance preferred. Minimum 5+ years related progressive work experience and/or training Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
