For more information, please visit: http://www.siemens.com/businesses/us/en/power-generation-services.htm **Job Description:** **Service Engineering Head** **Orlando, FL** **Position Overview** Implements Engineering policies and guidelines, manages and coordinates all Engineering activities in the Engineering unit assigned. **Responsibilities** *Global Repair Development Engineering Strategy all OOEM Frames (Heavy and Aeroderivative) Implemenation of Advanced Repair Methodologies in Repair Strategy *Repair Methodologies and Specifications for Heavy Duty Frame Gas Turbine Components and Systems *Repair Methodologies and Specifications for Aero-derivative Gas Turbine Components and Systems *Global Applications Engineering and Customer Key Engineering Contact *OOEM / Siemens Parts Applicability Matrix Implementation Lead and Primary Maintanence function *Leads Root Cause Analysis Investigation *Leads Customer Order Engineering; Customer, Site and Engine Specific Configuration Analysis in *Support of Customer Bids *Responsible for Benchmarking OOEM Technical Issues, advising Resultant Repair / Replacement *Strategies for the Installed base and implementing the agreed strategies. *Direction of a Complex, Multifunctional Organization *GT Advanced Component Repair *Customer Order Engineering / Applications Engineering / Applicability Matrix *OOEM Technical Issue Analysis and Fleet Strategy *Root Cause Analysis *Creating new solutions, experimenting with new ways to solve problems and seize opportunities. *Establishing an action plan, translating strategic priorities into operational reality. *Integrating the customer’s perspective when setting priorities and taking action.
