This role is responsible for providing leadership to team members and the Memphis Logistics Center in support of achieving the goals and objectives of the MLC and achievement of operating company service level agreements. The Logistics Coordinator performs tasks in accordance with defined standard operating procedures. The individual leads people, time, projects, metrics and distribution tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, while focusing on safety, quality, environmental compliance, and the operational calendar. **70%** Day-to-Day Operations Activities: (completed in accordance with defined processes, policies and legal compliance activities; i.e., SOX) + Balance operational priorities across end to end process; labor share + Update Visual Management Board Daily (Metrics) . **15%** Process Improvement and Projects: activities, to include + Support Manager/Lead with customer disputes with robust root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action plan (Method 1) + Proactively assess performance of assigned area, identify failures and root causes and make improvements + Participate in and lead programs to ensure efficient and cost effective operation and utilization of the facility + Lead and/or participate in departmental/divisional projects as assigned. Regularly communicate in all directions to keep associates, peers, and Management informed of project status, process changes, and opportunities. **10%** Ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance. + Comply with all governing regulations (e.g. 21 CFR, EH&S, cGMP, good housekeeping practices & good documentation practices). + Support investigations and implement actions associated with Quality System findings (Quality Assurance Reports (QARs), Event Reports (ERs), Committments, etc.) + Identfy EH&S opportunities and implement safety solutions in conjunction with Safety Engineer. **5%** Completes all other tasks/projects as assigned by Management. **QUALIFICATIONS** + High school diploma or GED. An Associates Degree preferred + Minimum of three years in an Distribution Role, College Diploma a plus. + Excellent in Microsoft office software's. + Proven analytical skills. + Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred + Good verbal and written communication skills are required. + SAP knowledge **NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS** Overtime hours are required as needed. Position requires on-call availability to address support functions for the site. This includes evenings and weekends on a routine basis.
