This person will lead a team of designers and technicians. **Responsibilities** • Leads team of designers and technicians • Manages the development of the necessary building blocks for a comprehensive offering in terms of HW, SW and services • Delivers a deployable product based on the givenrequirements • Ensures quality of products and services based on Rail and Industry standards • Manages the development and preparation of • design and engineering documents and drawings • specifications and bill of materials for equipment and parts • Creates/managesProductManagement processes with • Development milestones • Release plans • Resource plans • Works closely with the R&D functions of MM, RS and CS locally and in HQ • Manages the production environment of the service delivery (Databases, Webservers etc.) • Interfaces with Procurement to develop material specifications for vendor and suppliers when required **Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience** • Proven track record of managing a product development in rail environment • Knowledge of Rail Standards and Interfaces, ideally specific product knowhow of Siemens Rail products • Experience in testing and QA • Knowledge of data analytics and applications in rail • Team leadership • People development • Working in a complex environment, matrix structures and lean start-up techniques Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Unites States.
