**Senior Manager Learning & Development** **Hot** **Cambridge, United States** Human Resources 1 day ago Post Date 009348 Requisition # **About the Job** This role will work closely and partner with Senior Management, HR Business Partners, Talent Development Consultants and functional learning teams to drive a world-class Learning & Development Center of Excellence. **About the Team** The Learning & Development Team creates and leads highly visible programs that drive the development and retention of Akamai’s employees with an emphasis on driving the development of high potential talent. **Responsibilities** + Designs, administers and oversees high impact learning programs that result in organizational effectiveness and enhanced performance. + Creates an effective learning environment by incorporating a variety of learning modalities which align learning solutions with learner needs. + Incorporates a Level 3 evaluation process for global programs. + Interface with client groups and provide expert advice regarding training and development strategies. + Analyzes learning needs by partnering with senior leaders and develops and initiates training plans that tie to business objectives. + Assess, design, develop and manage innovative solutions and programs to address the training, development and engagement needs of talent across the organization. **Basic Qualifications** + BS/BA degree in business, human resources or related field required and 8 years of experience OR Master’s degree preferred with 6 years of experience developing and implementing a comprehensive learning strategy for individual contributors and people managers in a multinational organization + 2+ years of experience in the high-tech industry. + Learning & Development experience in a multi-cultural environment **Desired Qualifications** + Learning & Development experience in a multi-cultural environment + Strong ability to collaborate with senior leadership and managers to define business issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions. + Effective communication, listening, and interpersonal skills and ability to form relationships and work collaboratively with all levels. + Strong leadership skills, results-oriented, professional, dynamic and flexible. + Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. **About Akamai Technologies** Akamai is the global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, making the Internet business ready—fast, reliable, and secure—for its customers.
