Our focus is to increase the efficiency and transparency of these areas of the business while maintaining enterprise class reliability. Our ever-evolving technology stack consists of Oracle eBusiness, Oracle Business Intelligence, Siebel CRM, Informatica, Hyperion Essbase, and custom software. The team consists of high-caliber business systems analysts, project managers, application administrators and application developers. **About theJob** We are seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness across a number of areas including support, configuration changes, test coordination, and system changes. Wide range of responsibilities to ensure operational effectiveness and excellence of the product development process and its impacts on the lead to cash process. Candidate will possess strong communication skills needed to translate complex business requirements into technical design, implementation and deployment packages. Qualified candidates will be well versed in all phases of the SDLC and are adept at playing multiple roles. Candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. This individual contributor role will provide Application support for the; Finance, Product and internal Corporate Systems teams and other Engineering teams. You must be analytical, creative, highly skilled and experienced in business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, change management. **Responsibilities** * Serve as liaison between Finance and IT for application support. * Utilize SQL application for data analysis, testing and troubleshooting on a daily basis. * Coordinate with project manager to meet the software deployment timelines across IT organization. * Participate in Software Development Life Cycle process from prioritization of enhancements through implementation. * Communicate project status weekly and escalate as needed. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams for problem solving and analysis. * Implement and follow business and IT processes to ensure data integrity/accuracy. * Assist with application and reporting system support and operations. * Execute on other directives as needed. **BasicQualifications** * 3 years of direct experience serving in the capacity of a Business Systems Analyst or similar. * 3 years of recent SQL experience writing scripts for analysis, testing and support activities **Desired Qualifications** * Strong analytical skills, ability to understand business functionality and translate them into application requirements. * Problem solving skills, ability to diagnose an issue, come up with recommendations, and drive solutions. * Self-motivated individual who can lead changes to implementation. * Ability to think strategically and multi-task * Knowledge of lead to cash business process and supporting systems. **About Akamai Technologies** Akamai is the global leader in Content Delivery Network (CDN) services, making the Internet business ready—fast, reliable, and secure—for its customers.
