They are experiencing tremendous growth and are seeking an individual to spearhead the continued improvement of their quality systems. This position reports directly to the Director of Quality Assurance. Excellent high profile position for someone looking to positively impact a company. Responsibilities: As the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and validation of all the quality and food safety systems and programs for all facilities. Will work directly with Plant Managers and Plant QA Managers to implement system changes. Will spearhead training programs on system, policy and procedural changes. This position does not have direct reports at this time. Requirements: Minimum of BS degree in Food Science or similar. 5+ years of quality management with preference for at least 2 years of corporate or multi-plant responsibilities. Must have current knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, SSOP’s and FSMA food safety programs. Must have experience in the food industry . Must have excellent database management skills as well as training skills. Because this position interfaces with all levels, excellent communications skills are required.
